Panthers Preseason Roster Now Down to 30

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers general manager and head coach Jacques Martin announced today that the club has assigned G Jean-Marc Pelletier to the Rochester Americans (AHL).

The roster move cuts the Panthers training camp roster to 30 with two exhibition games remaining. The Cats will take on the Atlanta Thrashers Wednesday night and the Chicago Blackhawks Thursday night at the BankAtlantic Center. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m.

Pelletier, 28, played in two of the Cats preseason games stopping 21 of 22 shots on goal. Last season, Pelletier went 21-15-1 with a GAA of 3.28 in 39 games played for Rochester (AHL). The Atlanta, GA native needs only two more wins to record his 100th career AHL victory.
